Weddings are done in full \u2014 bridal bouquets, ceremony pieces, reception centrepieces \u2014 with travel to venues within roughly an hour&#8217;s drive of the city. And sympathy work is a genuine specialty here: standing sprays, wreaths, casket pieces and cremation tributes, with delivery to funeral homes handled as a priority even on days the shop otherwise stays closed.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Delivery_and_same-day_orders\"><\/span>Delivery and same-day orders<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The cut-off is published and worth memorizing: orders placed before 3 pm on a weekday and before 2 pm on Saturday go out the same day, and anything later moves to the next business day. One quirk to know in advance: recipients are usually phoned before the driver arrives, which is excellent for making sure someone is home and unhelpful if the whole point was the surprise. Come earlier in the day if you want the cut-off to be irrelevant, and earlier in the week before Valentine&#8217;s Day, Mother&#8217;s Day and the December stretch, when the whole city is ordering at once. Sunday is not a walk-in day, so plan a weekend purchase for Saturday morning.
